Home Nursing

Bringing care closer — because health doesn’t always wait for a clinic.

Home Nursing Program

In the heart of refugee settlements, access to a health facility can be complicated by distance, limited mobility, or fragile health conditions. At GIVE, we recognize that not every patient can walk to care — sometimes, care must come to them.

The Home Nursing Program was created to ensure that no one is left behind, especially those who are chronically ill, recovering from trauma, postpartum, or simply too weak to visit a clinic. We bring medical care directly to homes, shelters, and communities across Kyaka II, offering not only treatment, but also trust, follow-up, and comfort.

This service has become a critical lifeline for many women, elderly patients, and isolated individuals. It helps fill a gap where hospitals are distant, overburdened, or culturally difficult to access — and where community-based care makes all the difference.

“When dignity is denied, the damage goes far beyond what the eye can see. GIVE was born out of the conviction that even in displacement, even in crisis, people deserve to be respected, to be heard, and to be included in the decisions that affect their lives.”
